  • Decrease system downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Comply with F-gas legislations.
  • Maintain optimum energy efficiencies.

GMS will provide regular and routine checks to maintain good working order of your HVAC equipment, optimising its efficiency and your return on investment.

Does your Air Conditioning Unit meet the required standards?

We always take into consideration the right level of Health and Safety requirements to guarantee you are legally compliant, as well as initiating Green awareness within your building project to maintain corporate and social responsibility.

Research conducted by the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), quoted that an astounding 1 in 20 air conditioning units inspected by officials did not meet the required standards. Furthermore, over 90 per cent of systems are in breach of the EU’s Energy Performance of Buildings Directive.

Several constitutions and relevant organisations have come together to promote a leading campaign led by the CIBSE which is aimed at getting the government to address the need for buildings to be compliant to ensure that air conditioning units are effective.

This campaign will target the non-compliance with the F-Gas Regulations and Energy Performance in Buildings Directive. It’s important to educate and communicate more effectively with UK companies to promote their obligations to comply with air conditioning inspection and F-Gas legislation.

Non-compliance is costing both businesses unnecessary expense and harming the environment unnecessarily.

All systems put in place on or after 1 January 2008 are to be inspected within five years of installation, while all other air conditioning systems over 250kW output should have been inspected by 4 January 2009. Any air conditioning systems above 12kW are due to have been inspected by 4 January 2011.

Is your unit up to the required standards? How much money are you throwing away each year? Are you ready for an inspection to ensure you are compliant?
